WHAT: Head to Santa Monica’s Aero Theatre to catch director Nicholas Ray’s iconic film portraying suburban teen rebellion, alienation, and moral decay. WHAT: DTLA’s brand new Urban Outfitters hosts Chromatics, Glass Candy, and Doe Eyes as part of Converse’s ‘Rubber Tracks’ concert series. Portland-based headliner, Chromatics originally caught ears with their “no wave” sound but have since evolved with a modern take on italo-disco that is dreamy, dark, and hypnotically slow-grooving. | more info
