On Thursday, a short film released by October’s Very Own dropped on the company’s Vimeo page announcing the opening of the U.S.’s very first OVO flagship. The video, starring 6GOD himself and Los Angeles model Christina Santini, celebrates the opening of the brand’s Los Angeles flagship.
Showcasing an introductory clip of the two decked out in OVO apparel tracksuits in front of an idealistic mansion, Drake and Christina gaze on while cooling against a Ferrari.
The 90 second clip shows scenes of Drake pensively whipping through winding LA roads in a 2015 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Cutting to aerial shots of the Hollywood Hills, sunny suburban landscapes and ocean waves, the artsy and austere video closes by simply announcing the store’s December 5th opening.
The 48-hour-notice of OVO LA’s Saturday opening was obviously enough time for fans to act accordingly, as several thousand attendees showed up– many of which who gladly camped out overnight.
Those who made their way to check out the store spent the day making purchases and taking photos with OVO founder and Drake, co-manager, Oliver El-Khatib. Attendees also gained access to an exclusive OVO LA Flagship t-shirt drop, which noticeably nods to Dodgers insignia. If you’re into minimalism and owls emblazoned on your throwback era tracksuits and crew necks, visit the OVO LA flagship located at 130 N La Brea Ave.
