We’ve rounded up the top 5 menswear stores in Los Angeles—from Santa Monica to Silverlake—that you definitely need to check out. With summer time approaching, everyone’s gonna be showing off their LA summer swag and we want to make sure you guys are fully equipped with a list of the top merchants to hit up this season. We’ve got something for everyone: cool kicks, denim goods, sleek accessories and classic street wear. Browse, shop:

1) Mohawk General Store – 4011 Sunset Blvd, LA

It seems crazy to think, but the Mohawk Man and his general store have been a staple of Silverlake and Los Angeles for 7 years now! In that time, the Silverlake storefront has managed to curate a selection of some of the finest menswear, accessories, women’s clothing, and much more. Inside you’ll find everything from sustainable clothing to curated A.P.C pieces – even succulents and rugs!

2) Unionmade – 189 The Grove Dr, LA

The upscale menswear and accessory boutique is originally from San Francisco, but they’ve spread out and earned a great reputation through quality curating and placing a focus on carrying well-made, aesthetically timeless goods. Whether you drop in at their Santa Monica location or the one at the Grove, you can be sure that you’ll find tasteful, quality products.

3) Self Edge – 144 N La Brea LA

Well known and respected among the denim head community, Self Edge has built a reputation as one of the world’s finest destinations for men’s denim and we’re lucky to have them in LA. Aside from carrying the best quality denim goods, they also provide a full range of repair and hemming services. They’ll fix anything – a torn pocket, a detached button, you name it and they’ve got it covered… literally.

4) Blends LA – 217 S Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills

From their first store in Costa Mesa over 10 years ago to four brick and mortar stores all throughout Southern California, the good guys over at Blends have been curating heat for quite some time. They ran a limited edition and very rare run of 50 Blends x Ralph Lauren RRL black selvedge denim jeans a few years back and that’s only one testament to the recognition that these guys get, and rightfully so. If you’ve ever dropped by any of their locations you know you’ll always find the best in the sneaker world displayed in large fridge-like glass doors to keep your kicks fresh.

5) Union on La Brea – 110 La Brea Ave, LA

Union on La Brea has made a name for itself as a legend in quality, contemporary menswear in Los Angeles. They’ve consistently served a selection of only the finest in upscale streetwear year-in and year-out, keeping you in style all year round. If you’re over in the Hollywood area and want to refresh your swag, it’s best you stop by and pick up whatever they have because chances are, you might not find it anywhere else in LA. It’s also dope to know that after you cop some raw denim imported straight from Japan, you can walk across the street and eat at Sugarfish, probably one of the best Japanese restaurants LA has to offer.
