Los Angeles Indie lovers better be ready for the breakout of Brooklyn native Chloe Lilac as she sets out for first ever headlining show at The Echo.
From sneaky late nights busking in Manhattan to self-producing songs in her bedroom, Chloe has made a name for herself as a raw authentic artist.
“I don’t really know what sets me apart from other artists. I don’t really think about it like that. I really just like to have fun and make the best music I can,” said Lilac.
“Maybe what sets me apart is I’m not other artists. I’m Chloe Lilac.”
Lilac describes her sound as nostalgic, and does her best to incorporate everything she listens to into her own songs. She starts with a good melody and a good chord progression before the songs falls into place. But with her dreamy voice and cleverly crafted lyrics, she shows, not tells the world her stories through her eyes and her heart.
Since the release of her debut EP “Manic Pixie Dream” this past Spring, Chloe Lilac most recently blessed fans with a new single, “Special” from her upcoming sophomore EP.
Check out Chloe October 22 at The Echo before she sets out on tour with mxmtoon and Role Model.
Chloe is clear on the intention and purpose of her shows.
She explained, “I really want my shows to be a safe space for people to express themselves and take a break from their usual routines and have a great time.”
The show is at 7 p.m. and is welcome to all ages. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door.
